Salvatore Cali, Principal Investigator (PI) for NIEHS Training Grant, OAI, Chicago and University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Instructor/ Researcher: Mr. Cali has a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where he has been employed since 1991. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). As PI for the NIEHS Training Grant at OAI Chicago, he oversees the grant and ensures that environmental health and safety courses and delivery are up-to-date and relevant. He works closely with OAI training personnel to monitor programming and develop strategic partnerships. He has also served as Project Manager, Principal and Co-Investigator, and co-author for numerous research projects and externally funded grants at UIC. He is currently teaching academic courses at UIC and continuing education topics at OAI and other organizations. Mr. Cali has experience teaching multiple topics related to industrial hygiene, building science, infectious disease control in health care, and indoor air quality (IAQ).
