This Certificate Class will help workers understand electrical safety requirements and how to protect themselves from electrocutions, and arc flash. Safety topics include: GFCI, safety-related work practices, safety-related maintenance and environmental considerations, and safety requirements for special equipment. We have just recieved an OSHA Susan Harwood Grant and are now able to offer this certificate training at no cost! This 4-hour class covers the fall protection methods per the 29CFR1926 Subpart M, Subpart L and Subpart X. Training includes: Excavation and Trenching for the Competent Person English Spanish Excavation and Trenching for the Competent Person is an 8 Hour training designed to provide the worker with knowledge on hazards associated with excavations and the responsibilities of the Competent Person. Training includes regulations found in the 29CFR1926 Subpart P and addresses Specific Excavation Requirements Requirements for protective systems Soil Classification Sloping and Benching Shoring and Shielding FREE Walking Working Surfaces Certificate Training A walking-working surface is any horizontal or vertical surface on or through which an employee walks, works, or gains access to a work area. Forklift The LWSC provides the required Fork Lift Operators Certificate under OSHA standards for workers at their place of employment in conjunction with their employers. This class is designed to provide safety training for Forklift Operators. This is not basic Forklift training which should be provided by the employer. Operators are expected to know how to operate the equipment. Skid-Steer Loader Operator Safety Training Course This class is designed to provide safety training for Skid-Steer Operators. This is not basic Skid Steer training which should be provided by the employer. Operators are expected to know how to operate the equipment.
