Quin brings 14 years of experience in safety management, training, auditing and ISO 9001 quality management system implementation. Quin joined LWSC in 2023 as an OSHA outreach trainer. 

He is responsible for creating and implementing effective OSHA compliant safety training curriculum and new programs aimed at developing those individuals responsible for overseeing the safety programs in their respective working environments.

Education and Certifications:

Quin holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified OSHA 10 and 30 Hour trainer for general Industry.

Experience:

Quin started his safety career as a safety trainer/safety auditor for Target Distribution Center. Prior to graduating from Northern Illinois University, he interned for Borg Warner Automotive Systems for 2 semesters where he managed the hazardous communication program, performed incident investigations, and contributed to process improvement regarding safety. 

Upon graduating from Northern Illinois University, he obtained a safety Manager role for Peerless-AV, a role in which he held for 5 years. In this role Quin performed risk assessments, developed and implemented OSHA compliant written programs, led citation free OSHA inspections, led and trained individuals regarding ISO 9001 certification, and reduced incidents by as much as 90% which resulted in Peerless-AV receiving the Chairman’s award from Worker’s Compensation Trust of Illinois.

After departing from his role as safety manager for Peerless-AV, Quin transitioned to a Regional Safety Manager role for Amazon where he has managed the safety program for as many as 70 sites. In addition to his safety manager role at Amazon, Quin also worked as an adjunct instructor for the City Colleges of Chicago as an OSHA 10 Hour instructor.
